Before I call it a night...

I really don't know why I do it or allow myself to do it, but time and time again I find myself writing or planning a paper last minute late at night. Even when I have plenty of time to do it and plenty of time to prep I find myself staring at the clock early in the AM wishing I had started this stupid thing sooner. I guess maybe I secretly like the panic. The possibility I won't make it on time and the weird and fleeting sensation when I do finish just in time. It's a foolish gamble. Foolish foolish indeed.
